The Future:
No one really knows what the future holds and my aim is to live each day as it comes. I take each day in my stride while trying to live my best life – having lots of laughs along the way.
I have had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest luxury houses in the UK. From luxury home decor to luxury fashion. I’ve worked as an anchor for a show on a TV station, worked on radio as part of an incredible team, hosted events during London Fashion Week – but I always wanted more.
While climbing up the career ladder within luxury brands, I still pursued my dream to become a presenter. I was fortunate enough and got some opportunities to present on radio and TV. I also got the chance to produce content for the media in my second home, Lagos. I feel blessed that some of the established media creatives within the African media industry had kindly accepted me under their wings while I was there exploring their vastly growing entertainment industry.
I was also fortunate enough to have worked within the NHS when taking a break from luxury brands. I met some incredible people there who are some of my closest friends today.
After years of hard work towards my media-related aspirations, I was finally on the verge of a breakthrough – when my progression was interrupted by my diagnosis. After almost three years of recuperation from chemo, radiotherapy and six surgeries. I’m back and ready to pick up where I left off. With renewed confidence, strategy. My notebook is bursting with creative projects waiting to be brought to fruition.
